Lonesome Whistle

In college, I used to fall asleep listening to a train rattle on down the tracks in the distance.  I'm not sure exactly where it was or how long it was but it seemed like it went on forever. 

Chattanooga Railroad

The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga has some great events year-round.  Of course, it's always a good time to ride on a train.  This shot was taken as the train was pulling into the depot.
